We have two updates about the Kerrs Creek Wind Farm project:
Last month, on 20 December 2024, the NSW Government issued updated Planning Secretary’s Environmental Assessment Requirements (SEARs) to reflect the updated NSW Wind Energy Guidelines. You can view the latest SEARs document on the NSW Planning Portal here: https://www.planningportal.nsw.gov.au/major-projects/projects/kerrs-creek-wind-farm
The updated SEARs document is titled Issued SEARs and can be viewed here.
RES anticipates lodgement of the Environment Impact Statements (EIS) and Planning Application in Q2 2025. We’ve updated the timeline on our website here – https://www.kerrscreek-renewableenergy.com/timeline/
We remain committed to hosting another round of community information sessions immediately prior to lodging the EIS and Planning Application.
