Project Overview
Kerrs Creek Wind Farm is located between the communities of Kerrs Creek and Euchareena in the Dubbo Local Government Area, on the lands of the Wiradjuri People.
Kerrs Creek Wind Farm’s location was chosen for good wind speeds, proximity to the NSW transmission network, ideal terrain and soil types for construction, low environmental impacts and complementary use of land with farming activities.
The site sits across approximately 8,800 hectares of farm land, used predominately for cattle and sheep grazing.
The project will be able to effectively co-exist with the existing agricultural use of the land and will occupy less than 5% of the total land area.
