A Greener Future

Kerrs Creek Wind Farm is committed to preserving the environment and minimising potential impacts throughout the Project's lifespan. By replacing electricity generated from other sources such as fossil fuel power stations, renewable energy can lead to an overall reduction in NSW’s carbon emissions.

Powering more than
160,000 homes each year

Contributing to the New South Wales Government’s targets of net zero emissions by 2050.

Coexistence with agricultural activities

With a footprint of less than 5% of the site area, the Project allows for the continuation of farming activities.

Utilising existing access tracks and road reserves

Prioritising the use of previously cleared areas and access tracks to reduce the total project disturbance footprint.

Offsetting 650,000+ tonnes
of CO2 annually

That’s the equivalent of over 300 million tree seedlings growing for 10 years.
